La Ferme de l'Embellie is set in 1.7 ha in the Périgord region, equidistant between Bergerac and Sarlat. Holiday rents and bed and breakfast are available in the two gîtes and four chambres d'hôtes throughout the year. The property is set back in a small, quiet hamlet, 5km from the River Dordogne and ideally situated for exploring the numerous attractions in the area. The gardens and swimming pool enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Perigourdian countryside.

There are many restaurants in the villages and towns nearby, especially in Cadouin and Lalinde. Cadouin is a beautifully restored village which became famous for having what was once thought to be the Shroud of Christ. In the high season, there are many night markets where you can enjoy the regional produce and eat and drink with the locals in the village squares. Most of the villages also have weekly morning markets selling a wide variety of locally produced food and wines. Sarlat, a stunning town with ancient winding streets and an abundance of restaurants, is a 30 minute drive away, and a "must see" for all visitors. The area has numerous caves and châteaux to explore, such as Lascaux, Les Eyzies, Domme, Château de Milandes and Castelnaud.
